In this four-hour workshop learn the basics of flash photography with retired photojournalist and teacher and OCC Mentor Peter West.
Bring your camera and flash as this will be a hands-on workshop. But if you haven’t purchased a flash unit or used a flash before this workshop will provide you with a wealth of useful information on what to buy and what to avoid and how to get started. Plus Peter will share his flash gear with participants who don’t have a flash yet during the hands-on portion of the the workshop.
So from what to buy, how to use it (on camera and off), how and why to use light modifiers, flash modes (TTL and manual), camera settings (including white balance) this non-technical easy-to-understand practical workshop will make flash photography interesting, fun and highly useful for beginner and enthusiast alike.
